Nolvadex (Tamoxifen Citrate) is used for tratment of breast cancer. It is also used for treating mastalgia and for decreasing the size and pain of gynecomastia (swelling & tenderness of the breast). Nolvaex may also be useful in pancreatic, endometrial & hepatocellular cancer. This medicine is an Anti-Estrogen used to treat or prevent breast cancer. If you plan on becoming pregnant, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. It is unknown if this drug is excreted in breast milk. Do not breast-feed while taking this medicine.
