Abilify (Aripiprazole) is for treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar mania (acute mania and mixed episodes) and maintaining efficacy in patients with bipolar disorder with a recent manic or mixed episode who had been stabilized and then maintained for at least 6 weeks. Inform your doctor of all medications, OTC medications or herbal products you are taking and any allergies you have. Do not take any new medication during therapy without consulting prescriber.

Take exactly as directed by your doctor at the same time of day, without regard to meals. Do not alter dose, it may take some time to achieve desired results. Avoid alcohol. Inform your doctor if you are or intend to become pregnant. Breast-feeding is not recommended.
